As I was leaving the ground last night, I saw 4 of your cheersquad (men, who I'd estimate to be 30+), trying to provoke a Carlton supporter that would have been no older than 16, into a fight. The kid just kept walking towards the exit, and was followed by these blokes, who were doing everything they could to try and provoke him, such as trying to steal his footy, and pour beer on him. Of course, they would only fight if he came over into the Richmond cheer squad, as by now, ground security and other Carlton supporters had come over.
Apologies if this comes off being trollish, but having worked at the MCG for the past 18 months, Richmond supporters have been far and away the worst behaved supporters I've seen. One incident springs to mind being a bloke being kicked out of a corporate box during the Hawthorn match last year, for throwing party pies at the Auskick kids, only 5 minutes into the first quarter. (Which admittedly ranks up there as equally hilarious as it was horrifying)
Surely there's some sort of standards involved in who is and who isn't allowed into the cheer squad, based on the behaviour from last night? Put the EPL to shame.
Otherwise, congratulations to the other remotely human Tigers fans. Jake King absolutely tore them apart, Tambling showed why he was such a high pick as well. I think Simmonds after a nervous start really turned the match in their favour as well. Should be proud of your team, and their win. Your fellow supporters on the other hand...
On a similar but slightly different note, did anyone see that punch on up on level 3? Q 2 or 3? I was in Q1 and was interested in what started it?

Yeah he saw it as well.
I sat right next to thatday last night and cheered on the Tigers.
And thatday is secretly a Tigers fan, he certainley showed it last night.
Go tiges!![]()
I must admit, after last night I have a bit of a soft spot for the tiges. BTW, I still can't hear properly in my left ear thanks to you.You were playing Carlton, I had a lot of yelling to get out. I decided I would just cheer on Richmond. Happy I got my voice back today, can go to Pies - Freo tomorow and make even more noise.I must admit, after last night I have a bit of a soft spot for the tiges. Dont deny it.
You probably cheered louder than i did when the siren went.![]()
There is no end to my hate for that disgusting navy blue jumper. When you come to a Collingwood game you will see I am Collingwood through and through.![]()
You only want me there so you and your mob can steal my teeth and thongs.![]()

You do have good thongs......![]()

Thats why nobody goes to your games - Personal Safety.
Can you seriously not pay $2.95 for the same pair.![]()
I said you have nice thongs. Mine are better. And cost about 20 bucks more lol. And, your telling me about personaly safety? How many fights last night? I saw about 3 and have heard of another 5 or so.....
Theres probably 3-5 fights in the space of ten minutes at a Collingwood game.
Unfortunatley, nobody neutral has lived to tell the tale.
And nobody who supports Collingwood will dare tell the outside world for fear of getting beaten to death.![]()

that was the point it was %^%# like LC that suggested otherwise
And also The Clash suck - weak watered down false middle class punk shite - grow a sack and listen to Discharge you ****ing poser.
I think that's a very decent example of why I don't bother to list which club I follow. Yes, it was people like....me, that called up SEN to tell them that Richo didn't turn up to the Family Day, because I asked what you Richmond supporters did about fellow supporters that gave the rest of you a bad name. If you can follow that logic, without calling anyone ******ed, well, you're better a person than I.
The logic that goes on Bigfooty that you can't have an opinion because everyone OBVIOUSLY has club bias, and therefore can't construct an opinion without that club bias getting in the way, and therefore no-one else can read it without wondering where that bias comes from, is just absurd to say the least, yet not surprising, coming from some of the most unintelligent responses I've ever seen to rational conversation/debate/argument.
Fact 1) I AM a Carlton supporter
Fact 2) I had money on Richmond to win, so I'm not too concerned about the loss
Fact 3) I saw what I said in the original post
Fact 4) There was no alcohol consumed to alter my judgment in any way.
Fact 5) I work at the MCG on a regular basis
Opinion 1) In my judgment having worked there for a strong period of time, I've found the Richmond supporter base to be a much more aggressive and problematic group to deal with than any other supporter base than any other I've seen or had to deal with first had.
Opinion 2) From what I saw last night, it took my view of the Richmond supporter base to a new level of low
Question 1) As per opinion 2, I was wondering if anything is ever done about these dropkicks.
Opinion 3) How'd this thread carry on for so ****ing long?

Sounds like sour grapes to me champ.
I believed you until I read more of this thread and some of the posts you put up are just having a go at Richmond supporters.
But we all know what Carlton are like don't we champ.
First saw your thread yesterday and have been wondering why these 4 alledged rebellious Tiger supporters took to the said youngster from blueville, which got me thinkin' that at probably 19 min mark of the 2nd Qrt that your little blue friend may of been mouthing of a fair bit, only assuming though, saw the same thing happen last year Rnd 1As I was leaving the ground last night, I saw 4 of your cheersquad (men, who I'd estimate to be 30+), trying to provoke a Carlton supporter that would have been no older than 16, into a fight. ...yet you flame the supporters of the RFC on account of an alleged incident. You are little more than a narrow minded miscreant that attempts to provoke trouble for kicks...I can see right thru you pal....you're about as objective as Hitler
