Fletch, the game between the Magpies and the Saints was like an amateurs match. The Saints looked awful, at least as bad as they ever played last year. Collingwood should have won by a great deal more, because they should have capitalised on the chances handed them by the woeful Saints' defence.

Collingwood looked better, but not good enough to challenge a decent team, in my opinion. It was truly a game of 15th versus 16th.

Turlough,

Frankly comments like yours disgusts me, I am a fanatic supporter for my club and the players that represent my club.
But I will never wish serious injury on any player of our great game, every man to cross the line onto the field of battle, proves himself to be a man worthy of respect. Good natured jibing is one thing, but wishing serious injury on another is a heinous act

In a word-No.

It was Joffa who actually made the comparison first and I and a few others just picked up the ball and ran with it, my interpretation is that like a showbag you lack substance in your posts, the same way people who buy showbags get ripped off by spending big money for absolute crap. Plus you become very rhetorical and tend to really crap on about the same statistics over and over again i.e. the crowd stat that you always bring up to try and justify Essendon being the biggest supported club annoys the shit out of me.

Tom FC we did take the foot off the accelerator in the last quater, when we probably should have tried to humiliate the Aints and sent a strong message to other teams. I was still happy with the win and found a number of good signs which make me really optimistic that we have turned the corner this year.
