Accept what? that i found Melb weather to be terrible? i found those ugly graffiti to be a turn off? public transportation to be sh*t? i got the sh*t belted out of me in a train once. Too many tram stops everywhere and try riding a motor bike there, the inane drivers there will make it impossible and not to mention the unaffordable house and rent prices there.
I am not sorry for having an opinion, i dislike Melbourne, Adelaide any day, we have nice beaches good wine and less traffic and much much more affordable.

I agree with you on the tram spots. But you seem to be a bit focussed on travelling and complaining about weather while talking up a foreign city with worse weather. The restaurants, bars, sports venues, city, parks, inner suburb aesthetics and events make melbourne by far the best city in australia to visit. Its really the don bradman of australian cities for a tourist. Nothing comes even remotely close. No one goes to a city for the travelling. They go for the sites and things to do. You have made no comments about melbourne in reference to the reasons people actually travel to places. And travellers dont buy houses or rent.
and what has getting belted on a train got to do with melbourne? You dont think people get belted in other cities when in the wrong place and time? sh*t no one has been killed in adelaide or perth or sydney

I like cold weather, i just dont like middle of hot and cold like melbourne i am a skiier, i love skiing, i enjoy the stockholm winter. I enjoy going to switzerland austrian alps during winter, i love it cause i enjoy christmas in winter.
The reason why i mentioned beaches was cause of Adelaide, i come from Adelaide and we have beautiful beaches all around us, we have great wine too. Sports yeah i will give you that, but it's too far away from any ******* thing.

The weather. I like four seasons just not all in the same week. And too windy.
Long tram network I can't figure out because the idiots won't release their timetables to Google Maps.
The CBD seems like a Disneyland for annoying rich Chinese uni students on weekends.
Getting to the airport is a b*tch. Needs a rail link.
Provincial people, not all.
Too much obsession with sports. Can be good thing, depends on what you like.
The cost of housing. Nothing about a city matters if you have to kill yourself working all the time in order to pay your mortgage.

The switzerland and austrian alps are fricken awesome. But they arent near stockholm. Not a positive for stockholm. I agree adelaide has incredibly underrated beaches.
the mcg and tennis centre are a 10 minute walk from the city. Not to mention they are right next to richmond and just south of them is st kilda. Amazing location for tourists. Right smack bang in the middle of the best tourist spots. Just like adelaide oval is in a great spot. Homebush in sydney, the new perth stadium, waverly and the old football park in adealide were all terrible locations. You cant knock the location of melbournes sports stadiums.
it sounds like you are an outsdoor person and other than sport melbourne is not great for outsdoor. It has no beaches and is not near snow or mountians. But that is true of most cities on the planet including new york, paris, london, rome. The top 3 all have terrible weather as well. Melbourne is about events, culture, food and socialising. It excells in these compared to other australian cities.
