For any Big Footy posters in WA who have missed the news re Perth screening.

Tara McLeod was part of the covid cuts, but has ended up working for Adelaide Film Festival as Head of Operations, Development, Events. Good timing - continue promoting the club.

Had tickets to see it tonight in Leichhardt but ... life got in the way :/

Are they playing the new one before the game or more likely the old one?

Nice documentary; I enjoyed it. The fans' stories/passion/obsession in particular, along with those of past players, really gave you the feeling (if you didn't already have it!) that we are part of something very special, important & unique in the Port Adelaide Football Club. I think I'd have preferred it to be in colour (apart from the old black & white footage of course), but no biggie. As one of the fans said, it would have been a fairytale to get the premiership in our 150th year, and wouldn't that have rounded off the doco just nicely as well? Definitely want a DVD of it down the track.

Watched it last night, thought it was great. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

It really captured the essence of what the football club means to it's fans and the community as a whole.

The only fake and contrived bit that didn't feel genuine for me was Koch's and Tom Jonas individual cameos. Everything Koch touches is corny and cheesey and makes me cringe. As for Jonas, I don't feel any sincerity when he talks about the club and its culture, it always feels very scripted.

Looked up the times to see if I could see when I come down this weekend and on Sunday they’re showing it at the same time as the game.

Who is going to go to that?
A bit of strange scheduling but every day's session is around that time except for the matinee on Monday
