Black and white would be he official colours for Port in the SANFL, not in the AFL and it's disingenuous to suggest otherwise. Just embrace your official colours and move forward.
If only his old man had been good enough to manage another 81 games of VFL he'd be a legend of the game now instead of some long forgotten nobody.

And the heritage of them. Port (of SANFL fame) adopted the colours in 1902, Pies have had them since inception in 1892.

Collingwood pays the bills, there is no way the AFL will jeopardise its biggest cash cow. Be happy you’re premiership favourites and as a club are doing well, operating without AFL handouts.
