Black & White are official Port colours just as teal & silver (grey*) are the fans can wear whatever they like, there is no law that we have to wear teal and apart from a few clash/away guernseys in the past it's never been more dominant than black & white on our kits.
Black and white would be he official colours for Port in the SANFL, not in the AFL and it's disingenuous to suggest otherwise. Just embrace your official colours and move forward.

If only his old man had been good enough to manage another 81 games of VFL he'd be a legend of the game now instead of some long forgotten nobody.

Any other colour schemes you want to claim? You are Port Adelaide Power, not Port Adelaide Magpies. Eddie is spot on not entertaining this nonsense, we agreed for you to wear the black and white on occasion be happy with that and move on.

You came into the competition as Power...not magpies and wearing teal and silver. I couldn’t give a rats what google says. You can’t expect to now rewrite your AFL history.

Collingwood pays the bills, there is no way the AFL will jeopardise its biggest cash cow. Be happy you’re premiership favourites and as a club are doing well, operating without AFL handouts.

Some trivia: The first club in the world to wear black and white stripes was St Mirren Football Club of Paisley, Scotland.

From their Wikipedia page:

"Having first played in black and white vertical stripes in 1884, Saints were the first club in the world to do so, six years before Notts County."
