Fair enough people are venting, however I would like to congratulate Ollie and Jonas and wish them every success.
The venting isn't aimed at Ollie or Jonas, it's not their fault the club is pissweak. We could've appointed prime Russell Ebert and Warren Tredrea as co-captains and I still wouldn't be happy about it.

With all this co-captains negative stuff going on, members are dropping off like flies. Two hours ago we had 51,176 members, now we're down to this. C'mon guys, stay on board, the club needs your support.

I can see that some people are genuinely upset with this, which I can understand, but some of the other pile-on hysteria is unreal.

Rooch is fanning the flames with his “149 year-old tradition” speak too. The idea of co-captains for us probably didn’t even come up until Primus/Tredrea, so it’s not like we’ve been nixing the idea since 1901 because tradition. A captain wearing number 1 is definitely tradition though, so we either give it to one of them or put it on hold until we have a standout leader again.

I’m not one for blind faith, but I imagine there are enough intelligent football brains among the coaching staff who spend about 1000% more time with the players than us to think they might have good reason to make what they would know is an unpopular decision. Hopefully we’ll hear their reasoning soon and can move on to other things, like winning games of football. And wearing the prison bars.
