Sweet Jesus. If Wines is upset because people rightly point out that he is unable to play properly due to his shoulder problems of his own making, then Bonner needs to be put on special watch because the vitriol directed to Bonner this season makes any slightly less than favourable comments made about Wines look like compliments. Have you ever had hordes of people you don’t know call you all sorts of names on the internet?

So the club dumped on 149 years of history and tradition for what exactly? A one year experiment?

As someone else posted, that can't be undone.

Clearly it's going to be one year because of its unpopularity. You don't really think they planned it that way?

The odds of co-captains surviving past 2019 were always slim.
It will 100% happen because it’s the only thing they can do to appease supporters. They arent getting rid of the coach, they aren’t getting rid of themselves, and they haven’t made any progress with the prison bars.

No I don't think it was planned for one year.

The unpopularity was pretty clear before the club announced it but KT and Hinkley knew better so they went with it anyway. If they were so convinced it was the correct call why drop it after only one season? Where is the courage of their convictions?

If KT drops co-captains after just one season he is admitting it was a monumental feck up. It makes his attempt to soften up the members at the convention for the pending announcement of co-captains look even more pathetic.

Can't win either way.
