Great historical photo .
I only know bottom first left Bobby Quinn . A true legend and Big Bob McLean with the part down the middle of his hair .
Centre back balding guy looks very familiar as does far right but I can't quite put a name to them .
I'd have to dig out my hundred years of the Magpies to check lol

I am pretty sure the guy to the left of Bob Mclean is Reg Schumann (captain in 1949)
Often see him at Alberton in front of the Quinn stand in the 1990's still following the Magpies.

Port Adelaide 1870 looks like the AFL Record are using your colourized photo as part of the article on Bob Quinn as it recognizes SANFL, WAFL and Tassie footballers who served in wars for Oz.

Is the front cover photo with Bob being carried off the ground, your work as well?

Great stuff PA 1870

We have a photo of the PAFC team when they were runners up to Westies in 1946. R Quinn Captain/Coach.

Family interest being my late F in Law is in the pic.

Do you have this photo or access to it as I know the Club has it? If unavailable to you and if interested, we could bring it with us when in Adelaide.
