All the best guys - I don't think our shellacking of the Roos was necessarily great preparation for us, but we had played through 3 tight finishes in the previous four weeks, and needed to have guys like Ebert and Brogan get through unscathed.

Full respect and admiration to the Cats. Bomber's a great football person, and I have had the pleasure of talking to Tommy Harley in his younger days when he was at Port and he is a very decent bloke.

I don't know how the emotions will pan out for the players this week. The Cats have a steely resolve that reminds me of the way we went into the 2004 GF. In many ways your path this year is like ours was back then - comfortable qualifying final win, tight, nervous prelim win on the Friday night. Little bit of extra doubt because of the closeness of the Prelim........

I just hope we can live up to our end of the bargain and keep our heads and play our best for the big day.

As an outsider I hope you win

I think if you turn up and play like you did on Friday night you may be in for a loss, I hope not as I hate port with a passion but you will need to pick your socks up in relation to last weeks game

Lots of missed passes, poor handballs and fumbles which is not the way you have played this year.

I think port winning is your worst option as they will take it up to you so I hope you come out firing and last weeks game was a blip on the radar

I was cheering on Collingwood on Friday night, because I would have much rather have played Collingwood. Geelong are definitely the best team in the league at the moment. I feel we are a comfortable 2nd.

All I can say is you will have to be at your absolute best. If you are at your best I don't think we can beat you this year. If you arent I think you are in trouble.

We had a pretty light run against the Roos which cancels out the extra days break IMO. If we win the ruck duel and our forwards fire (and at least one of them always does) we will cause you a lot of problems. Wakelin held Mooney pretty well last time until he got injured. But ofcourse you had 3 of your better players out.

We are definitely a chance I feel, remembering we went into the 04 GF with all the experts picking a 5-6 goal Brisbane victory. We will step up to the occasion, and you will have to be at your best.
