With Wingard out of the AFL side and Snelling out of the SANFL side I expect Irra and Summerton will come back in.

Johnson is the travelling emergency for the Power but he will probs be able to play in this game.

Prediction: Port Adelaide by 30 points.

I expect a comfortable win, however last week was disappointing and I'd hope we see a response.

What I personally want to see from a Magpies and Power perspective is:

- Eddy to continue to taking solid contested marks
- Palmer I'd love to see a breakout game for him, he's starting to show glimpses of being ready to take charge at this level, but is yet to truly do it.
- A far stronger performance from Houston this week, he was supremely disappointing last week.
- Drew to actually take more than 3 steps when he gets the ball before kicking. Seems to always just take a few steps and then kick. I'd like to see him get more of it, but also show more composure when he does.
- Neade to actually show up when the heat of the game is on.
- Ladhams needs to find a way to not be a hinderance. Just sticking a few of the grabs he gets his hands to would be invaluable.
- Frampton to be a bit more competitive in the ruck.
- Monfries to play HFF NOT WING and to not get 60% of his touches inside D50.
- Atley to start to fire in the middle. Really want him knocking on the AFL sides door. We're seeing glimpses but not quite enough
- Austin to start putting together some good games and get his name back on the selection table.

Really hope guys like Monfries, Eddy, Howard, Houston, Palmer etc make a statement. The club needs it's depth to step up and take some of the under performing 1st team players spots away.

Irra hobling badly after last week's game. Spoke to him and he could barely walk. Crowd probably down from last week
hopefully not too much. Agree with fellow posters re Palmer, hope he really imposes himself today.
The more I see of Billy the more I see him as a CHF/CHB or a Hoff type (no fixed address).
Reynolds in the Academy again :(.
See you all there.

I'm going to this. If Gus and Palmer weren't watching that game on Thursday thinking 'There's a spot in this side for me' then they weren't looking hard enough.

They also may have thought "whats the point". Gus imo MUCH more likely to get a go and in a way fair enough.

It wouldn't even matter to Hinkley if they did step up.

Sun's out so I'm heading in.
Haven't seen the Maggies all year.
Keen to see who won't come into the 22 for the Awks.
Also curious to see how Butch is received by the Port faithful.
Pretty sure sure he'll be warmly welcomed.
Not by me, tho. Not against us.
Hope Logan gives him a bath...
