In the OFF SEASON even..all we do is talk footy

It can work in Tassy ...they are footy crazy and most have told me they would drop their Vic teams if there was a Tassy team such as Tassy Devils..
I am not sure at all this would apply to a relocated team

Agree there may be not so much of a financial gain in Tassy compared to other markets ...but..

Having another state that Thugby League and other codes don't reinforces in the psyche of people that AFL is the only true national league..
Also the people are absolutely footy crazy ....a football state that has had their share of heroes ...They deserve it..its wrong not to have a team there.
Even though it may not be a major financial boon I am sure it will more than pay for itself.

They'd offer more to the league than North Melbourne or the Gold Coast. North Melbourne hold zero purpose for the league. They have no redeeming feature.

I'm slightly concerned that Breust is going to tear us a new one. Pick the ball out of the air and we should be fine but if they scrub kicks inside 50 like we did against West Coast, we might get exposed for speed. Midfield needs to do it's job.

Yep. They also need state govt support, which considering how much they piss away to the Hawks and Norf it shouldn't be a problem. It would be such a uniting force for Tasmania. As I stated before, a Tasmanian team adds so much more to a National Comp than the tenth Vic club.
