I reckon it's due to the ball being in our backline a lot. Last year he defended well in the limited games he had with us, in a trial game this year he did well with the ball coming out of the backline.

Looks thin up forward and down back, but geez Mayes, Amon, Duursma, Mead, Schofield, McEntee is a bloody good SANFL midfield.

Would've loved to have seen us fit with Hayes, Dumont, Sinn added in there.

Butcher's done his hamstring. He'll be back playing country footy in the next couple of weeks and then hopefully he'll be playing back in the SANFL fairly soon.
