WTF that kick after the siren by Dylan Williams has to be the worst kick at goal I have ever seen. I cannot remember a worse one.
Trying a torp from 55m out ain't that bad. Players have missed from the square, it definitely gets worse.

Solid win though, bank that. Westies came to play, executed their plans perfectly and a 5 min Hayes2Mayes burst tore the game apart. Every win we bank while the injuries are piled up is a good result. Heading now into the break a couple wins clear in the 5 is more than we could've hoped for given the injuries.

Garner was back to his best today. Know you're just feeling it when you pull out a MOTY contender.

Mayes played really well.

Was good to see Jase racking them up, he's got a lot of work to do, but there's some potential there. Going to be interesting to see how he performs when he drops back to the Eagles.

It might be worth leaving Goldsack and Sutcliffe forward permanently if we want to win it all.

The move of Corcoran to the middle a few weeks back has been a master-stroke too, would never have expected him to be playing this well in there.

HH ok, nothing special. Just wish he'd show more intensity and/or actually do things at full pace rather than half pace all the time.

Port Magpies, Swamprats forever,
Hartlett doesn't return to AFL on that effort, Garner far more impressive as a defender.

Lienert sat out second half injured, no explanation.

Mayes looks a class above SANFL, he looks like an AFL midfielder.

Hayes too tall for SANFL opponents, but might struggle against players his own size.

Jase needs to load up on la spaghetti, he has legs like a bird! But he has vision, skill and looks unflustered.

Don't see anything in Taj that Snelling didn't offer.

Lord is promising, needs to fill out but has good proportions.

Hartlett played well. Not exceptional but had a good game.

The main problem with him as that we have so much depth in half backs and he isn't good enough compared to the current options we have.
He should need to put in a few absolute masterclasses before I want him back in the AFL.

Today doesn't live up to that.

I only saw the 2nd half but once again the 12 contracted players contributed a fair bit.

Hayes, Mayes, Garner and Goldsack were the 4 AFL listed players who made big contributions. Williams was pretty good. Decent contributions from Hartlett, Fredrick, Schofield and Woodcock. Didnt see Lienert but sounds like he didnt get a run in the 2nd half.
