Why the plastic screens at AAMI? Port supporters aren't spitters are they? Haven't seen screens like that at Subi

No, you're new to football ... The only other possible explanation is you're an idiot... I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt ...

Resorting to petty name calling says more about you than it does me.
No, the rule says you can't dive on the ball. They ended up on the ground after the tackle - the ump applied the wrong interpretation.Yeah the Emac one was htb. Its a stupid rule but its the rule. Despite 0 prior opportunity, you cant sit on the footy and make no attempt, even if its held to you. Dumb rule but it is the rule.

Swift thread, lack of chance etc...Can we all now agree that Dalziell isn't up to it? Cheers

I agree its a stupid rule, I hate the rule, but it was there and would have been payed every day of the week.
Again, the rule is different if you dive on the ball v tackled immediately after taking possession. I know what you're saying but he had both legs and his arm pinned. It's a ball up every time. The rule, maybe not the rule but definitely the interpretation, is you have to at least pretend to get rid of it. You cant just sit there waiting for a ball up. You hear the mic'd up maggots harping on about genuine attempt, Emac one was there cause he didnt do anything once tackled.
Well, reason resulted in you inventing facts and interpreting the laws incorrectly. So either new to footy and don't know much or an idiot ... Not name calling, just logic in the face of evidence ...
That rule applies if you dive on the ball/drag the ball in ... EMac picked the ball up while standing and was tackled to the ground and wrapped up. No prior. Ball up. Every day of the week.
The fact that folk don't understand the laws of the game is of little surprise.

Right so it was called holding the ball against an Eagles player and a couple of Eagles supporter disagree (who would have thought). Impartial observation and conformation is important when verifying the facts, thats how it works, not one persons option.
I feel nothing.
Bring on next week.
Who wants to take me to the Collingwood game. I'm good company, will buy beers and may give wristy.
I hate the rule but the umpires have been hot on 'genuine attempt' all year. Rule needs changing but wasn't the worst decision of the day.
Incorrect. He tried to hit the ball but his arm was held and the ball was held in. He physically couldn't move either arm. AND more importantly he had no opportunity. It was a ball up.
You, again, are missing the point.
