These are some posting guidelines for the BigFooty Port Adelaide, Black Diamond Corner & Club 1870 Boards.
Don't blame us if you didn't read it.

On registration you agreed to not use the forum to submit or link to any Content which is:
Opposition Supporters
* If you are to post here, be respectful. Respect the users of this board, respect the club and there will be no problems.
* Constructive and friendly debate is always welcome.
* Joining in the spirit of existing satire and friendly banter may also be okay.
* Saying you were only joking after you have been infracted = bad luck. If you are not sure and don't make it clear, then don't post it.
* Opposition fans do not have the same right of reply as Port fans. If you want to get even with a Port fan, there are other boards to do this on (within BF guidelines).
* Personal abuse by an opposition fan will meet with an infraction.
* Disrespect towards Port Adelaide or its players will meet with an infraction.
* The moderators reserve the right to interpret your intent as they see fit.
* If you want to complain against an infraction via PM or on the boards, you may be rewarded with a further infraction (Port supporters note this too - our patience extends only so far).
* The moderators may at any time decide to remove your access to the Port Adelaide board temporarily or permanently.
Dream Team Questions
If you have a Dreamteam and Supercoach related question about a particular Port player, post it in either this thread or the individual player thread in the Club 1870 Board.
There's also the BigFooty Dream Team / Supercoach Board for more general information.
Any new threads started on the Port Adelaide Board that do relate to Dream Team/Supercoach/Fantasy Footy will incur a warning and the thread will be deleted (not moved). A second breach by a poster will incur a more serious infraction.
DT and SC queries appearing in unrelated threads will be moved to the Dream Team/Supercoach thread.
Port Supporters
* You do have the right of reply against opposition supporters, however if your response far outweighs what you are responding to, warnings or infractions may be handed out. Let's remember kids post here too.
* Abuse of fellow Port Adelaide supporters may incur an infraction or a warning. Examples of abusive behaviour include, but are not limited to, personal insults, ad hominems and malicious use of the like functionality.
* Spirited debate is encouraged but over-the-top criticism of players and/or officials is not welcome. Abusive comments toward club personnel will be assessed case-by-case and infractions may be handed out. See this thread for reference.
* If you are found to be an opposition supporter posing as a Power supporter, your board access will be removed and enough infraction points retrospectively incurred for trolling posts, to ensure you spend a spell on the sidelines site wide.
* The moderators reserve the right to interpret your intent as they see fit.
** Asking/Begging/Pleading for, or posting details of an illegal online stream of a match on this board - any board - will result in a straight up ban.
We will not always catch everything and we may not act on everything, however the onus is on the posters to check their own behaviour, not the moderators to be 100% consistent (although that is our aim). If we spend a couple of hours cleaning up rubbish, then we may not be as forgiving of breaches as we would be if it had been quiet recently. If you feel there is a post or a behaviour that requires moderator attention, use the report function.
Posters should endeavour to stick to the topic & where they completely derail a thread, particularly with ongoing personal abuse, then they will likely earn themselves an infraction.
A long time reasonable poster may not incur the same punishment as a new poster who has always pushed the boundaries. You make your own reputation and may occasionally be judged based on that reputation. They are the facts of life.
Once more, if you have written a post which you think may cause trouble, read it again, think about it and if you are still not sure .... don't post it.
Remember, we are here to support our great club and to have a bit of fun.

The Puritanical Purge (Adult Content is Forbidden)
BigFooty.com runs advertising from a number of networks, including Google AdSense.
AdSense have policies against running ads against content considered "sexually gratifying" among other things. The mods will delete posts that contain such content.
