Port chasing Leon

would be a great help for port. We had too many kids playing this year, and not enough experience around them. If you saw us trying to run the ball out of defence this year, you would know why we're interested in him...!
He's not going to make us finalists, but some leadership and teaching on field is a step in the right direction.

Not that I know him, but I wouldn't have pegged Leon as a leader.

was thinking more lead by example, more so than captain material.
If the youngsters can watch him take the game on, and run, they might get a bit of that as well.
They just need someone to get them running, way too slow out of defence.

Would be a good role model for Port's younger players. They may offer him a role in indigenous player welfare/mentor when he eventually retires. I think it's a role that he wants to follow.
