El_Scorcho can you imagine being a Bulldogs supporter right now?

They're selected two talls this weekend - English and Naughton.

After a barnstorming start to the season, Naughton had no impact last week with his partner Schache dropped.

They conceded 16 forward half marks, 9 contested, in defence to McKay & Casboult.

They've robbed Peter to pay Paul in defence and attack, completely sacrificing structure:
- Wood and Cordy playing as KPDs, not intercepting half backs.
- Naughton pinch-hitting in ruck, leaving 0 talls forward of the ball

It's like Beveridge read everything you've ever posted and decided to prove you wrong.
Yeah it's bizarre. Beveridge is an awful coach, still living of jagging a flag from 7th with the most unbelievable umpiring ride of all time in the 2016 finals.

This is why it was so frustrating to see us flounder in this era. We've had a quality list in a really even era where if we just could have been competent we could have and should have been right around the mark over the last few years.

Dogs still averaging 7(!!!) more free kicks than their opponents over 5 games in 2019. How the Bulldogs of all clubs get this ridiculous umpiring free ride every single year is beyond me.

They got the umpiring ride in 2016 so the AFL could get their biggest fairytale premiership of all time and the reason they still get a ride is to keep the Bulldogs competitive, relavent and to make that premiership appear more respectable.
