"Hocking said it is becoming an urgent problem in the game and added that it was not a matter of making umpires at the top level full-time.
He said players are "super-smart" at exploiting the rules and this puts even more pressure on the umpires."

lol. My sides. Of course it's the players making it so difficult. Warney would be jealous of the turn, bloody hell.

Sorry for the whinge fear but this perception of doing what’s right pisses me off.

When I was brought up following footy I got told to Boo, yell ‘Ball’ and sledge your opposition.

Aren’t we allowed to have our own opinions and act on our emotions.

The world is becoming so judgemental and people fear of being judged. People fear the introduction of robots and cloning when we are actually cloning ourselves and becoming a soul less society.

It’s heading to the situation that we will be looked upon as poor supporters if we don’t clap and cheer oppo goals.

Could've been worse, I've seen American sports games where fans have thrown shit on the field because they were angry about an umpiring decision. I've seen soccer games with pitch invasions and players being attacked (Birmingham Derby a few months ago), booing just seems so milquetoast in comparison
