The AFL have blatantly and pathetically cashed in on ANZAC Day. Remembrance of fallen soldiers should be separated from footy. The AFL has made its bed...
I have a question. Why does Daniher throw his hands up in a I am the GOAT after a goal (even a good one) as though he is the messiah that has just won them the game, even though he hasn't?
Was the booing of Goodes after the pointing out the Collingwood girl, or the next year when he done the spear chucking dance toward the Carlton fans at the SCG? I can't remember exactly.
There was no need for such an aggressive celebration as Sydney walked over Carlton at home. It was in my eyes an act of deliberate antagonism and one couldn't help but think it was an attempt to incite a reaction. A reaction is what happened. Doesn't mean it's right but when you let the genie out the bottle those things can happen.
I feel like we've lost our fair share of important games with questionable umpiring calls.
I was at the 2 most famous ones 2014 Prelim (Stevic calling Jonas holding the ball), 2017 elimination (polec high tackle oin shuey). A bit more on the line in these game than a round 6 clash. I can't recall our supporters standing around after the game booing like a bunch of twats.

I am wondering where Mathew Lloyd is this week. Last week he had a shot at Ben Brown for playing for free kicks. There were a number of times yesterday where Daniher looked like he had been shot.
Who said it was a ‘good show’? It’s an understandable reaction after such a contentious series of events during a massive game that was decided by less than a kick.
Send Wheatley to a NFL game in Philly in Giants gear, Ibrox in a Celtic kit or the Estadio Monumental Antonio Vespucio Liberti in a Carlos Tevez shirt.
I'm amazed that approx. 80,000 people can stand silently during the minute of silence. That is more remarkable that some dickhead doesn't spoil that. But they don't focus on that.
I particularly like the faux outrage from ex-players who were cheating animals on and off the field. It is always extra meaningful to be lectured on appropriate behaviour by them.

Funny how several here are outraged at the cheering of Gaff by Eagles fans yet condone the booing of Pendlebury by Bombers fans. I see no consistency in that point of view.
I’m from Europe and have literally just returned from the US last week.
You must be hanging out with some right wing nut jobs.
The overwhelming view of Australia overseas regarding race is Howard’s boat people policy and aborigines.
The only people who think Australia is PC in anyway are the gun nuts, from your last post it seems that you are talking about YOUR perception of Australia after visiting other countries.
Yep. ANZAC Day from this point on has always been about the piss up, boorishness and in some cases violence. We have elevated and commercialised it into something it's not and has never been. Im not talking about the game, Im talking about ANZAC Day itself.
