What do other professional sports leagues around the world do? Genuine question. I don't actually know

I’m not sure either but the NFL have a very good injury reporting regime that the AFL should follow. Late withdrawals are basically never a thing in the NFL but they do make game day decisions on player availability (active vs inactive).

Instead of fining the Bombers surely make them pick an emergency or play one short. My issue isn’t with the betting side of things it’s with the oppositions preparations.
