Well look on the bright side Eagles, at least you finally lost a game that wasn't by a margin of 7+ goals.

There's something off about West Coast. They remind me of Fremantle circa 2014, except they actually won the flag the year before whereas Freo only made the grand final in 2013.

When the ball got to the other end of the ground and was rushed for a point, the Eagles should have been able to lock the ball inside their 50 and create repeat entries to at least get another point to draw the game. But Collingwood just waltzed it out of defensive 50 with ease. Absolutely horrible defending by the Eagles.

Collingwood belted them up in the last quarter. They hit every single contest at 11/10.

Why does Pendlebury look like he has an hour when everyone else has a second?

I've heard the commentators mention it once or twice over his career that he used to play basketball...maybe that has something to do with it?

West Coast cough up a 3/4 time lead and score only 1 point in the last quarter. That's Ports tier incompetence.
Behinding yourself towards a win is also very Port-like. Magpies scored 3.9:27 in the second half. TWELVE scoring shots against THREE! It was Port v. Port.

[EDIT]

Late in Q2, the score was WC 10.4:64 to COL 8.1:49.
From that point on, the score was COL 3.11:29 to WC 2.1:13.

----

1) The game started level (Q1):
COL 6.1:37
WC 5.3:33

2) WC got an advantage (Q1-Q2):
WC 5.1:31
COL 2.0:12

3) Then, COL took the game over (Q2-Q4):
COL 3.11:29
WC 2.1:13

This was the scoring sequence for the whole match:

Eagles 1.2 (+8) [8-0] - Q1
(-1) 1.1 Magpies [8-7]
Eagles 0.1 (+2) [9-7]
(+4) 1.0 Magpies [9-13]
Eagles 1.0 (+2) [15-13]
(+4) 1.0 Magpies [15-19]
Eagles 2.0 (+8) [27-19]
(-2) 1.0 Magpies [27-25]
Eagles 1.0 (+8) [33-25]
(+4) 2.0 Magpies [33-37]
-
Eagles 2.0 (+8) [45-37] - Q1/Q2
(-2) 1.0 Magpies [45-43]
Eagles 2.1 (+15) [58-43]
(-9) 1.0 Magpies [58-49]
Eagles 1.0 (+15) [64-49]

-
(-6) 1.3 Magpies [64-58] - Q2/Q3
Eagles 2.0 (+18) [76-58]
(+2) 2.8 Magpies [76-78] - Q3/Q4

Eagles 0.1 (-1) [77-78] - FT

They might've managed to get over the line last night, but Darcy Moore's injury will still make a big hole for them.

It's a special trait, I remember in his draft year people were mentioning that he makes time for himself in situations when others can't.

Maybe he's a witch?
