McLeod has just tripled down on the crows. Talks about his indigenous programs and clubs not really interested.

Just heard part of his podcast on SEN. Uncle Pauly might need to put a call into Bunji.

At about 6.40 in "The twisting of stories as to why I'm supposedly not feeling welcome back at the club are still happening." He tees off at media and a few at the club and ambassadors

Wow. If this gets caught up in the BLM momentum it could be disastrous for the Crows. Just ask Crossfit.

It is pretty poor from the Crows to put on a show of indigenous awareness but not actually want to be involved.

Yes, but look, Ollie Wines did an interview outside his house, why aren't you focusing on that?

In the thread on the crows board, someone last night wrote that that he was told McLeod lost his government funding to his indigenous programs, he went and asked the club if they could make up the difference, under the current covid circumstances they couldn't do, so that's part of what has upset him.

Then a reply today, is that Graham Cornes confirmed it on the You Can't Be Serious podcast with Sam Newman, Don Scott and Mike Sheehan.

Another ex Crows player in the headlines...

Matthew Andrew Shir, 38, is accused of breaking into Ms Jacobs' Bronte home, in Sydney's ritzy eastern suburbs, assaulting her and damaging property at about midnight January 10.

The former Adelaide Crows player fronted Downing Centre Local Court last week after he was charged with aggravated break and enter and common assault.

Police also allege he was stalking and intimidating Ms Jacobs' following their separation, The Daily Telegraph reported.

The pair were first linked in 2018 after Ms Jacobs separated from Today show weatherman Steve Jacobs earlier that year.

The Club that keeps giving LOL

I don't think people in Australia are going to put up with the kind of shit happening to Crossfit and everyone else.

Unpopular opinion = Andrew McLeod is acting like a spoilt kid. Great footballer and possibly a good guy but teeing off at the hand that has been feeding him since his playing days is pretty poor.

Yeah, but...

Quite possibly. But who cares ;)

FWIW I hope the Camries badger him into submission, and nothing changes. The last thing we want is them behaving like a proper footy club for a change and being successful.
Let them continue as they have been - suffering in their jocks.

Teeing off at the pot feeding the black kettle.

Are we really going to victim blame Andrew McLeod when it's an unobjectionable fact that the Crows are an uncaring and immoral organisation? And after he's bitten his tongue on it for the better part of a decade?? Really???

The whole Crossfit thing is as much about struggling gyms not wanting to pay affiliate fees as it is about BLM.

One wrong move from the Crows here could see a flood of people requesting their 2020 membership fees back as a protest in much the same way.

“The Collingwood Football Club operated from the premise that I was wrong to speak out about McGuire’s racism,” Lumumba wrote on Facebook.

“I spoke out against McGuire’s racism on 28/5/2013 and was ostracised internally for doing so, particularly from Buckley, who stated, ‘You threw the president under the bus’.

Lumumba also claimed he was called “Chimp” by Magpies teammates before directly addressing the issue in 2013.

Speaking on Channel 9’s Footy Classified, McGuire said he was unaware of Buckley’s alleged “under the bus” remark and the “Chimp” nickname, but conceded the club needed to “find a solution” for racism in the AFL

“I continually try to reach out to Heritier. In fact, earlier this year I was in Los Angeles and tried to find him, because I want to bring him home to give him a Life Membership at the Collingwood Football Club.

“I’m going to try again to reach out.”

“We’re all about trying to get a solution; we’re not defending ourselves,” McGuire said
