They'll play him and it'll be a win-win. Crouch will want to play well to maximise his contract value, and Adelaide will want him to do well as it will maximise their compo. A massive overrating of him though if they think anyone would pay enough to warrant a first round pick.

Surely nobody could ever have legit thought that prices would drop by the SMA - without an even larger portion size reduction compared to how much the price was reduced?

His weekly spot on 5aark has been a tad awkward - he hasn't hid his frustration around the freeze on contract negotiations, but that looks like being lifted as an AFLPA negotiating point re the compressed fixturing coming up, so he'll probably be a bit happier if that goes through.

i came here after hearing on the saints board there was 2 pages of doogs talk in here

then i stayed for the ben keays talk. my god what a w***er he is.

i reckon the howard trade will go down as a massive win win for both clubs. especially with georgiades there. he will be an absolute gun!

good luck for the rest of the season guys and next week. i reckon you guys are the team to beat this year! well coached, well balanced, really surging for the cup!

it is such a shame that the draftpool is a fair bit weaker than the last couple of years. Cows are recruiters anyhow so either way anydecent pick ups they get will leave and those that stay will be the spuds
