A quarter and a bit in, West Coast look barely out of training drill speed, and that seems their main threat in this game.

Watching West Coast and seeing Geelong, I reckon my interest in this season has nose dived greatly

We have the right midfield to take it up to West Coast.

We lacked the smart forward pressure needed to take it to Geelong’s chipping game. Once we started to break even in the overall clearances, we proceeded to lose it by continuing to go I50 in the same old dumb way, by failing to competently defend the resulting turnovers and by failing to setup for their #1 target (even though they showed us exactly how to do that at the other end all night). Apart from getting more statistically smashed at clearances there wasn’t a hell of a lot more we could have done wrong on the night.

Change a couple of pieces, adjust 1-2 inexperienced other pieces, and this can improve dramatically.

Remain seated by yer TV mate. Still a good chance to give the big prize a shake, but we need to learn to adapt, not just react.

West Coast were playing like trash we met them earlier in the year all they need to do is slightly beat us in the midfield & Kennedy, Darling 'n Co will monster our backline.

Kennedy kicked 4 against us when he was rusty and we beat them by 48pts .... if the WC midfield gets on top it'll be over by halftime.

Geelong want %. We have a reasonable run home the better their % the more likely they move ahead and stay ahead when we drop one.

Nah, we kill them everytime, they're soft and don't match up well against our big bodied midfield and in your face defensive pressure.
