On another note I'm getting an unhealthy level of schadenfreude reading the Hawks and North boards as they go through the exact same frustrations we had with Chad and Polec.

Welcome to the universal, unwavering truths that Chad is just not that into football and Polly looks after no one but #1. Still love Chad, but not unhappy the associated issues are no longer ours

Hawks board is still giving Chad a fair bit of leeway and blaming Clarko for playing him out of position.
Sound familiar?
Yet everything is Ken’s fault.

They're right. It was Ken's fault when he played Chad out of position, and it's Clarko's fault now that he's playing Chad out of position.

My argument for the last 3 seasons has been Chad sucks as a forward and is a high quality midfielder. Absolutely nothing has happened since 2018 to indicate anything different.

Even Stephen Crowe has had enough of these dismal performances lol finally for once giving in and calling it as it is with this pathetic excuse for a club.

Waiting on roo now to come out.

So Clarko, multiple Premiership coach, knows less than BF posters about how to play Chad?
Interesting.

Lost the plot, again. Poor Crowey.

You mean apart from Chad being inconsistent and ineffective offensively and going AWOL defensively in the midfield?

There's a reason Clarko doesn't put him in there more.

Crows forcing first round draft pick to earn spot back in the team

Adelaide forward Darcy Fogarty was dropped for his side’s big loss to the Western Bulldogs on Sunday, with the Crows revealing they need him to improve his fitness.

The former first round draft pick is one of the young Adelaide players who need to take the next step in order to help the winless side off the bottom of the ladder, but he has struggled with injuries and fitness.

Crows Head of Football Adam Kelly said the club’s message to Fogarty was that he needs to earn his spot back in the struggling side.

“(Our message) for him was to go back and work on his fitness level,” Kelly told SEN SA Breakfast.

“Unfortunately Darcy missed six games and came back in against Melbourne, had the two games, and wasn’t quite at the level that we hoped he would be.

“He needs to go back and work really hard and force his way back into the team.

"revealing"? That suggests it was like a big mystery.

Victorian government reveals Ned Kelly was a bushranger.

Maybe he has had enough and can't get motivated to play for the crows LOL

“I don’t have words. That third quarter… I wanted to run flat out into a brick wall and knock myself out. Honestly… nothing short of what I would call football embarrassment. They’re 0 and 12,” he said.

“I’m just losing faith in Matthew Nicks’ messaging, his system, his game style and his method. They’re 12 games in, this isn’t all on him by the way, I still cannot see what in god’s name they’re doing and what they’re working on and where the improvement is.”

Why wouldn't he love playing for them? At this stage they think he is the second coming based on nothing except the odd long goal from his 6 touches per game. He can float along being Tex Jnr and the customers lap up his every (very few) touches.

Haha Flog really is a mini Tex isn't he.

Like Tex he will struggle to maintain his standards his entire career.

He would be looking at Tex thinking all I need to do is meet his low standards of professionalism whilst playing the loveable larrickin and giving out a few cheap shots and I will be adored by the majority of the state and set up for life financially.

I'm going to really miss Owen when he finally decides to leave the nest. Gotten pretty used to having him around
Fear not - I reckon Owen will hit puberty. In fact he might be a middle aged man before he leaves West Lakes 😀.
