The whole problem with the intent grading is going to rear its head with Lynch this week.

He'll get a week for using a swinging arm gut punch from behind his opponent to generate separation in a situation where he then took an uncontest mark and kicked a goal. Meanwhile other players get the same penalty for being slightly clumsy while contesting the ball or tackling.

That sort of action, a deliberate punch from behind, 70m from the ball, should be a straight to the tribunal, 3+ weeks type penalty.

If they couldn't make "in play" as a grading criteria stick because everyone is always "in play", how about just measuring the distance from the ball at the time of the contact? Bands like 0-3m, 3-10m, 10-50m and 50+m, with a further distance band meaning a higher penalty.

How’s the “ahh it’s just the Suns, who cares lol” nature of their fixture.

• 2/8: vs Giants
• 6/8: vs Saints +4 days
• 12/8: vs Bombers +6 days
• 17/8: vs Tigers +5 days
• 21/8: vs Blues +4 days

Imagine if they were still in the Europa League.

I'd feel sorry for them except the whole season is being played in their home state sooooo .....

How on earth are the crows only paying $7.50 (TAB) to win on Sunday? They were $6 to beat the dogs who are only mid-table at best
Yeah i annoyingly chickened out of my weekly line bet against the Bulldogs because it was -31.5.

Its only a few more points against the Cats so I'm on board again.

Could Polec be on his way to a 4th club? Dropped again at the weekend by North who are going full re-build. Probably fit in well at West Lakes
I don't see it

Why would a club in stage 1 of a rebuild give up draft capital for a bloke who is 27 - not in a position of high demand, has an injured past and isn't known for setting great standards

If the crows do it it'll be to be better right now what's bizarre ( but then again they are 0-12)

they have no money in the salary cap, how would they be able to afford a player who demands upwards of $800k per year.

I visited the Hawthorn page yesterday, a few there wanted him!

Another Ports player there would be awesome!
