What wouldn't they? They earnt the right to a home final. I can't see why anyone would have an issue with this. Especially Port supporters, as we know how it feels to be shafted by the AFL on a regular basis.

A "home" final. If its not in front of your supporters it makes FA difference where its played. Its not like Marvel was available but the AFL said no.

I am not sure they were given an option. According some in the media they were told they were playing in Adelaide but objected and the game was relocated to Brisbane. That is the point a Melbourne club objects and the issue is resolved in their favour but if we attempt to demand our rights e.g wearing our home guernsey in a home final as happened in 2014 we get a compromise solution which was the AFL allowing us to wear the PB guernsey because it suited them.

Probably why we were shafted to thurs night instead of friday

I have not looked at the rule book but I suspect Talia would be getting pretty close to being an Unrestricted Free Agent at the end of his current contract so maybe the Cows will look at off loading him while he has some currency?
