A severe thunderstorm outbreak is likely to develop over much of eastern Australia later this week and into the weekend.
At the moment, showers and thunderstorms are active over central parts of the country and will continue over WA, NT and SA this evening and Tuesday as a trough moves slowly eastward. At the same time tropical moisture begins to to spread across eastern Australia.
Moisture and instability in Qld will lead to thunderstorm development over inland parts of southeast Qld and far northern NSW on Wednesday, becoming widespread across much of NT, Qld and NSW on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, contracting to eastern parts of NSW, Qld and northern Australia by Sunday.
Severe thunderstorms with large hail, damaging winds and heavy rainfall leading to flash flooding are likely in Qld on Wednesday and much of eastern Australia Thursday through the weekend.
Accumulated totals of 25 to 50 mm are likely for eastern NSW/southeast Qld with the potential for isolated falls 100 mm by the end of Sunday night.

7 games out of 17. When our state had no Covid cases the flogs at the afl refused to schedule us extra games at Adelaide - sending us to Queensland time and time again.

Seven’s extensive coverage of the second AFL preliminary final match on Saturday night was the most popular show on commercial free-to-air TV, taking four of the top 10 rating spots across the five capital cities around the country.
The broadcaster’s coverage of the AFL game between Brisbane and Geelong on Saturday was the most popular show on commercial free-to-air TV with 1.146m viewers across the five capital cities.
Seven’s prematch coverage of the match took fourth and 10th spots, with 748,000 and 322,000 metro viewers, respectively. Its post-match coverage was watched by 573,000 viewers, taking 6th spot on the TV ratings metro table.

I very much hope we are one of the clubs that join the group of clubs asking for an external review of all of the AFLs operations.

Stuff Tasmania, next expansion/relocated club needs to be in Bendigo, Mildura, Shepparton, Albury-Wondonga or even Horsham to stop all these homesick/fed up Vic Country boys wanting to go to Geelong cos it's the 'country club'.
When SEN started up their SA station again it sounded like a promising antidote to the 5aark and Drivel M Crowfest, with Port 300 gamer Kane Cornes and Rucci released from his Advertiser shackles. Then we learnt that Rooch was to be paired with Kimbies Dillon, while Kane just wants to be a footy shock jock. And enuf said about Dwayno.
