our voting participation is similar however. Well it was 3 years ago, unsure of this year

If only they were as ‘super rich’ as they claim to be they would already have moved.
The truth is they need to be back in with the SANFL so they have a backstop.

Years of spin that they have made big "operating profits" has come back to bite their current admin on the arse. I listen to their fans on sports talkback and most just assume they have the money to do what ever they want. They arent that rich. They are a middle 6 club when it comes to footy wealth

Sure they were a cash cow in the 1990's when they had a monopoly and the cost base of footy was a lot less than it is now, and people paid a premium for access to poor standard stadium, but those days are long gone.

Watching my first bit of live footy for the year.
Just saw the new rule cost the Hawks a goal. The Hawks player took a half step.....realised and stopped.....50 m and a goal.
Can see this rule costing teams a lot of soft goals this year.
