Stringer "has been terrific"

He's had 8 touches, most of which occurred in the first 5 minutes of the game

Football commentators think we have shorter memories than politicians do.

Not that it will happen, but I think a 3rd SA team would damage the crows more than it would damage us. It will split the non-Port supporters, and a lot of disenfranchised crows fans would jump over the crows mk II.
A new team in SA (not that it could support it, but if theoretically they had to create one), would definitely hurts the Crows more. They'd know they wouldn't get big numbers, so the smart thing would be to hone in on the wealthy end of town. This would terrify Adelaide, as they internally identify themselves as this, but plaster the faux 'SA Great!', 'Kick a Vic' at every opportunity to placate everyone outside the top end, who otherwise is not a fit for them at all.

If a third club came in that was unashamedly pitched at the top end, they'd panic and rightly so. Port obviously has supporters across the board, but none of them have any issue with the club retaining it's working class roots / 'vibe'. Another club pitched as 'All SA' or as working class would barely touch us. Adelaide and a top end rival would be damned if they do, damned if they don't. Keep pretending that Shaaza and Daaza from Elizabeth and Christies Downs is equally as valued as Beryl and Herb from Norwood and Unley and watch many of the later go to a club that keeps those 'lessers' out. Or finally ditch the facade and watch many of the former either go to Port or step away from supporting AFL, as they finally realise they've meant nothing to the club beyond extra dollars, and not wanted anywhere near them with their bogan ways, outside carefully stage managed appearances. In any scenario a third club would push Port to top in SA within 5 years and never look back from there.

Has Luke Darcy got early onset dementia???

He seriously mentions Hickey being at four clubs in four states every time he touches it.

Since when was he not allowed to play on then. He went behind the mark, what does it matter if the Essendon dude was on the ground
He said because he pushed him over, then reverse the free for pushing him over ffs.

A new team in SA (not that it could support it, but if theoretically they had to create one),
Port, Norwood, Centrals.

In that order I reckon may have worked.

3 different enough areas.

Once 'Adelaide' came in, everything else is doomed. As you suggest, it was too encompassing. No way Adelaide wouldn't suffer immeasurably.

9 more scoring shots. Sydney drawing or losing would be awful.

if I could take one player from another club, it would be Tom McCartin. Will be the best key defender in the comp for many years.

About time they use him.

It's like they've forgotten who he is.
