Although losing their ruckman before the last quarter didn't help, Melbourne also went into panic mode. Once Richmond got to within 13 points you thought they would win, once it was 7 you were sure. At least three shots at goal came from the set-ups at throw-ins, where it was continuously pointed out that Melbourne had no-one to cover the likely loss of the tap.
Melbourne's play in the last quarter was a bit like ours has sometimes been where we'd have a lead and then it would be eroded by a couple of goals leading to a complete breakdown and loss.

it'll be interesting to see who gets the coaches voters from that shitshow. Will they be lazy and give top votes to Martin and Cotchin or will they go Nankervis, Grigg, Houli, Oliver.

Bloody Dees. Last time I change my tip. But at least that game answered one question, Richmond will not make the finals this year, Even though they're 5-0 they have in that beaten Carlton and Brisbane, and Carlton not all that convincingly. They have beaten West Coast and Collingwood, both of them woefully inaccurate. And to top it off a Dees team which finished with two less players and had to rely on Jack Watts to ruck the last quarter.

Richmond have beaten Carlton, Collingwood, Brisbane, West Coast and Melbourne. Hardly a tough draw. Remember a couple of years ago, when they lost 8 or nine in a row after a similarly hyped-up, camouflaged start?

They're not good. 3 goals in a half against Collingwood in perfect conditions showed that. They'll implode spectacularly and hilariously...

NUFC, YES.
Melbourne's gameplan has a lot of ours when we blow games about it.

So much graft, up and back running, handball, spread, for so little dividend. One too many errant handballs, missed kicks and butchered shots at goal, only to be skinned with direct and efficient counterattack.

Should be much further in front.

If Melbourne don't have a winning lead at 3QT, Richmond will run all over them.
You'd think I'd have cashed out.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
