Can suck it!
I remember Liam Jones looking like a young superstar in Barry Halls final season at the Dogs - Baz retired and Jones hasn't played to that level ever again.

Moore kind of looks like Liam Jones right now.

Collingwood couldn't kick a goal from a set-shot at one point with 1.8 from 11 shots. They ended up a bit better than that, can't remember what But I saw Elliott and Wells kick a couple of set goals.
Essendon did pretty well to only lose to the cows by 65 at AO after they were 52 down at half-time. They actually got themselves back into that game at 3/4 time.

So listening to the radio whilst working I was again having to put up what a disaster Friday nights game was...... it irritates me no end and I wonder, if Port were flogged by Carlton, would it have been a disaster? The love of the VFL this year seems to be up a notch. Interesting how they are really happy with the Vic based games whenever they are purely based on attendance alone, nothing to do with the quality of the game - like today's rubbish affair.

Bar Howe, Treloar had more effective disposals than everyone else in his team had touches.

That isn't what I'd call using it horribly.
How does it affect your disposal efficiency when you hit a handball target but that target gets immediately tackled? It says nothing about the targets he's hitting up.

For the record, I watched the game and thought Howe was pretty good.

From what i can find

"Effective disposals are made up of effective long kicks, effective short kicks and effective handballs. An effective long kick is one that is 40 metres to a 50/50 or better for the team. An effective short kick is one that results in a teammate's possession who was the intended target of the kicker. A handball to a teammate that hits the intended target to the team's advantage is recorded as an effective handball."

Collingwood's Jack Crisp gets my ANZAC day medal - he was my only Ultimate Footy team player today against 5 players for my opponent. I was only 40-odd points up at 3QT after starting the day over 200 ahead, but hung on to win by 15 points. Crisp scored 113 points - his best so far this year :clapping:

Does anyone remember if it was the ANZAC Day night game against Hawks Rd 4 2015, or the ANZAC round game Rd 5 2016 v Geelong that they had the bugler play the last post from on top of the AO scoreboard?? It was bloody spectacular but I cant find any footage of it or anything on google or even the Port board. i reckon everyone at the ground stood in awe that they got him up there. I noticed this year it the bugler was in front of the Geof Motley race.

Seems the Collingwood board have been discussing Treloar and his DE% in a dedicated thread for a while now. I'd be curious to know how they see his game today in comparison to the others they've criticised him in.

Nah he is ssssssssssssssoooooooooo much better than Jones.
Except he isn't.

In 5 full games this year Moore has had 42 disposals, 3 goals, 5 tackles and 0 hitouts.

He's been hung out to dry by his footy clubs handling of Travis Cloke but regardless of all that he is not even equalling the career averages of the great Matthew Westhoff.

I've been saying it for years they still think it's the VFL over there. Think it's more obvious than ever now.

Other teams? There's other teams?

I was at the 2015 game REH, dead centre, ground level of the members and took my position prior to the commencement of the ANZAC ceremonies and have no recollection of that. I think I would remember that so I'd hazard a guess it was 2016 you're referring to.

I actually recorded it too but soon after transferring it to my hard drive had a drive failure and lost a lot of recently uploaded video files unfortunately or I could've checked. Nonetheless, particularly seeing I don't get to a lot of AO games I'm 99% confident it wasn't during the ANZAC ceremonies prior to the Hawks game.
