Can anyone confirm that Bokonen/wampeter is an ex port fan who moved over to the Giants without me trolling through pages and pages of posts?
I can confirm that anyone who is "fishing like a boss" should know the difference between trolling and trawling! :p

But I can't remember ever seeing said poster on this board

GeezCrows ar getting a lot of thurs and fri night games
Thursday nights the AFL wants a packed house for "the look" on TV so they know that's a lock. Same with Cats at Kardinia Park on Thursday night. Apart from season opener Richmond and Blues I don't think a Thursday game is played in Melbourne of the other 7 games.

Didn't bother to look at the numbers in the stands on the telly, but I can't recall a Melbourne game where their fans audibly drowned out the opposition fans. All that and just about ski season weather in MEL tonight. Mind you I mostly only watch them when they're playing us ;)

I don't mind thursday away games and love watching them on tv but don't really like them at home. Typical of AFL to ensure the Melbourne darlings don't have to be the ones to play them at home.

Thursday games are there so they can tell non-victorian teams "YOU HAVE YOUR STAND ALONE GAME, BE HAPPY"

Sydney scored twice as much as Melbourne did: 30-15. However, the Swans had three six-behind goals against one from the Demons. That's the only reason the massacre doesn't look as big as it should in the final score:

MEL 7.8:50
SYD 11.19:85
Sydney +35

Melbourne - biggest bunch of front running faux tough campaigners there is. Hogan, Lewis, Bugg - it's a culture thing with this club to punch players.
Well, they are the DEMONS, after all, aren't they?
