NUFC, YES.
I can't imagine a day when I'll see that picture and not cringe
Skynet = the zettabytes worth of memes that would've blocked out the sun had Choco-Tredders-Cornes-Brogan-Dimma-Choppy-Carr-Kane pulled this shit before losing by 8 goals to Richmond in a [Grand] final.

Surely that couldn't have been a unanimous decision? Like the nazis and hitler there must have been some conscientious objecters? Like sane people with dignity wouldn't agree to debase themselves like that. Maybe one day those peoples story will be told in that beige room they call a museum.
Ratkins actually looks pretty unenthused by things

It will be interesting to see if they try to persist. They really can’t win but their best bet is to shelve it and accept the torment short term but either way I’m going to enjoy it.
For all eternity when they mention tarps we can remind them of the stance ;)
When they mention 119 we can remind them they were roaring favourites and 48 Crash ;)
What a massive fail in so many ways .

Sounds a little needy too me. Do we ask if they are going to do a runner first chance they get?

It's probably nothing but I find it interesting that the Crows first pick in last year's draft Jordan Gallucci hasn't extended his contact at the Crows beyond next year as yet.
Doing that sort of shit with draftees is exactly what they shouldn't be doing. You don't just make people stay. You get them in and then immerse them and give them reason to stay. It's nothing about loyalty.

I just found it totally bizzare. Who does that? Pretty sure there are rules in place that prevent giving an honest answer but I would be making a point about the families history with Geelong and the pride they feel in being part of a great club.

This is so true and the defining difference between a real club and a franchise. A real club immerses you, involves you, makes you part of the family, looks out for you and earns your loyalty (Ollie is a perfect example of this). A franchise employs you and expects loyalty to be given not earned.

Long may they continue to not get it.

I don't think there was too much in their chat. The article makes it out to look a bit full on, but yeah, not too much in it.

Just read between the quotation marks. Everything else is bs most of the time.

The Adelaide delegation thoroughly probed the Victorian on whether he was another 'flight risk'.
"It was a bit daunting because (Adelaide coach) Don Pyke was in there, so I didn't really know what to expect but it went well," Wooller told AFL.com.au.
"They talked about loyalty and asked me my thoughts on that, but I told them I'm happy to go anywhere to play AFL football and my family would fully support me."

Yes, you talk the team up and make them feel welcome. Being pressured just makes you want to leave.

How loyal was the franchise to Bernie Vince a few years back?

It comes across so desperate. Imagine going on a date with someone and the first words out of their mouth are "YOU'RE NOT GONNA LEAVE ME ARE YOU?!!"

FFS Adelay hold your mud.

It's be interesting to see if Adelaide goes further in on SA picks the next couple of drafts. Especially next year when there are good SA picks (for the rarity), there'd be good odds they'll go for the slightly less good SA pick. Not dud vs. gun, but if there's a player 7.5 / 10 from SA versus 8 / 10 from elsewhere I'd say they'd go local and argue they thought they were the better pick. Port would go the 8 / 10 always. In a game of small differences between a flag and bottom of the 8, even a mild panic like this will set them back over the medium term by a fair degree. Glorious :D
