The rebuilding Kangaroos unsuccessfully targeted Tigers superstar Dustin Martin and Giants young gun Josh Kelly with lucrative multimillion-dollar offers throughout last year.

However, speaking to The Herald Sun on Thursday, North Melbourne chairman Ben Buckley revealed the club would again reload in an effort to lure star power to Arden Street.

Adelaide midfielder Rory Sloane, Gold Coast forward Tom Lynch and West Coast running machine Andrew Gaff headline this year’s most attractive free agent prospects.

There’s every chance the Kangaroos could again join the chase for their signatures, with the club reportedly having the salary cap space to offer two players up to $1 million per year.

I'm guessing Walker's speech was about 14 seconds but somehow I think you know that ;).
:D
I was assuming 15 seconds but I think even that may have been generous. Note that on this 13-second video Taylor's speech stops at 0.9.

I did 65 x 60 divide by 270
Not how I got there. I assumed Tex's speech to be 15 seconds ie 1/4 of a minute. The podcast was 65 minutes so was 65 x 4=270 times as long as Tex's speech. After having looked at Tex's speech again maybe the podcast was closer to 300 times as long.

9 seconds has to be a record for an official sporting event speech. Someone contact Guinness for an official ruling! Tayla needs to be honoured!

You would think the sponsors would have been extremely pissed. The biggest stage, a big moment with the maximum exposure possible outside of winning on the day and he's all "I dug a hole".
I'm pretty sure any self-respecting sponsor would have hated being associated with the adelaide football club at that moment in time.

"please, please, don't mention us by name, please taylor"

I wonder how much the humiliation of the loss, stemming from the peacocking beforehand and insolence afterwards, will have on the psyche of the Tingles this year

Would be pretty easy for an oppo player to get right into their heads when it matters

Any self-respecting sponsor wouldn't want to be associated with them anytime, but if they wanted to be a gracious speech would have benefited them.

Edgie's Dream Girl. Confirmed.
I dunno, she's European. Could have more liberal views toward body hair on females than I'm comfortable with.

Looks and sounds good skating but.

He wasn’t great, but Jenkins was worst on ground by so far that it’s not even a competition.
I almost think at this point JJ is off the table with these sort of discussions because it goes completely without saying. I’m factoring in the leadership Walker was meant to bring into the discussion as well. He was putrid. Just as soft as JJ, went to water just as much. But was lucky enough to kick a couple and it made his stat line look somewhat respectable.
