No doubt already mentioned in here but Brendon Bolton abused a bombers player at three quarter time yesterday. I look forward to his 1 game suspension which is what Chad Cornes got 2 weeks ago for swearing at Goldstein. Kane has suggested as such. I love Kornes the media personality.
Haha yours is just the third mention. Crickets from the AFL...then again, why should a senior coach be held to the same standards as a runner o_O

They’re named after a burb that’s named after a boat that’s named after a rock off the Scottish Coast that was named by drunken sailors in many languages over a millennium, resulting in the phrase “St Kilda” that doesn’t actually mean “Saint Kilda” at all.

Actually it was a small inhabited Island. Area of 8.546 km². The Islanders requested that they be evacuated and were taken off and settled in Scotland.

I see only 3 potential wins for Brisbane this year.
- Essendon & Carlton at the GABBA
- Gold Coast at Metricon
Thank f**k we didn't lose that one to them in Round 3
They're unlucky they don't get the Bullies at the Gabba. They were a beesdick away from that one at Etihad. If Lewis Taylor takes a couple of steps back on his mark and kicks over Bailey Dale instead of trying to handpass when he's right next to him Brisbane are 1 point down with 9 minutes to go and all the momentum.

Was the Cats-Pies game as bad as claimed? Apart from goal-kicking accuracy, on publicly available stats it doesn't look *that* different to our Saturday night special. So there are two interesting data points there :p

EDIT: to be clear, I haven't watched a second of the Cats-Pies game. Interested in the context of the ongoing debate about the alleged congested, defensive-obsessive side of modern AFL. My gut feeling is you want to fiddle with rules you ought to have something you can actually measure alongside the subjective gut feelings.

Geelong were leading 19-11 two minutes before half time. The second half was much better but the first half was rubbish.

I find this obsession with high scores very quaint.

Gold Coast had several top picks in the side as well. It's a shame that a generation of young talent has been wasted in such a poorly executed expansion.
Yep. Add to that the long list of Suns and Giants players in their early twenties breaking down like they are in their early thirties. Too many games in under developed bodies is catching up with them. A whole generation lost to AFL greed...

I wouldn't be writing them off this week against the Hawks at the Gabba
