From one end of the earth to the other.
Then we will have another trip to Optus and a trip to Mars amongst our away games in the second half.
What the hell are the AFL doing?
Meanwhile teams like Richmond get game after game at the MCG.

I'm still really struggling to accept that North Melbourne aren't terrible.

Shameless blowing of my own trumpet, wrote this pre season ...

North aren't as bad as everyone thinks they are. Strong in all of the key positions, decent mix of blue collar mids and dangerous attackers. Bottom 10 teams would be doing well not to underestimate them, especially at Etihad and Hobart.

Everyone seems to underestimate North every year, no matter how high or low they finished on the ladder the previous season. It's like an annual meme to have North as the big slider. If you look at their best 22, it's quite strong. Great home ground advantage at Hobart. Lost a lot of close games last year. Quite a lot of things pointed to them being on the up this year, just nobody was prepared to see it because lolnorf.

Don't know why people give a shit about ladder position in round 9 as long as our win-loss is looking ok.

Yeah, it's pretty funny how people obsess over ladder positioning at this stage of the season. Literally the only ladder that matters is the one at the end of round 23. Wait until there's half a dozen rounds left and then run the numbers.

I consistently despair at the free to air TV coverage of games in the AFL. Tomorrow we have what could be game of the season thus far in West Coast V Richmond but Adelaide viewers are forced to endure a Brisbane V Hawthorn irrelevant snore fest. I know these broadcast games are decided when the fixture is released but sheesh. Foxtel keeps looking better and better

I had a 4-5 record to be OK for us. We are 6-3! It means our next two games, we will play with House money. Games being Hawks, away, and Tigers, home, that's quite encouraging. After them, though, we must run the table all over...

If the 8 still contains the same teams as it does right now, we would have played every side in the top 8 in our first 11 games. I expect Melbourne to win and push into the 8 today debunking this scenarnio, but still, nobody can accuse us of having an easy draw or not beating anybody in the top 8.
