Anyone here Walker respond to the game on the weekend by saying Melbourne played like schoolboys?

if anything Melbourne made Adelaide look like schoolboys the way they dominated the contested possessions :D

Think he needs to stick to sugar cubes.

You heard it wrong. He said Adelaide were made to look like a bunch of schoolboys.

Terry Wallace in to the hall of fame. The second he started talking, all I could think about was "I'll give you a ride."
I will never not laugh at this

Also good for getting strange looks from people when they hear that coming from your mobile in public

Can suck it!
Distinctly Victorian hall of fame night in a distinctly Victorian centric year from GF & Friday night fixturing through to media, MRP/Tribunal results and umpiring. It's like we're back in the VFL days. Gillon is a ******* ********.
Yeah how can they call it an AFL Hall of Fame when a WA legend like Bernie Naylor wasn’t inducted until today. I bet John Coleman has been in since day 1.

Did anyone think any different. It was to be expected really.

VFL confirmed ladies and gentlemen.

If Melbourne played like schoolboys then they were the big kids at lunchtime who picked all their sporty friends in their team that thrashed the little kids.

It's great that Bernie Naylor of the WAFL 1,034 goals and 45 at interstate games the first decade after WW II, got inducted into the Hall of Fame. Probably a decade late.

That now means that of the guys who have kicked a 1,000 goals in each of the 3 big state leagues either just in those leagues or combined like Kernahan or also played in Tassie + the big 3 eg Hudson or in the VFL and VFA pre WW II, all of them are now in the HoF except for 2. That is Ted Tyson of West Perth who kicked 1203 goals before WW II in 12 years but most years finished 2nd to George Doig who was seen as the WA equivalent of Farmer (SA) and Coventry (Vic) in the 1930's. And Port's Tim Evans who kicked 1,044 for Port, 26 for Geelong and some in Tassie.

Given Austin Robertson Jnr was inducted in 2015, Ron Todd who kicked 350 for Collingwood in the depression and left because of a pay dispute and kicked over 700 in the VFL and Naylor this year, means Tim and Ted Tyson will probably be both inducted with in the next 5 years.

Don't tell me that! I have to get one for bursitis in my shoulder.
Mrs Wharfie has had two jabs in the shoulder over the years, both guided by a radiologist. First one gave her a lot of relief and the effects lasted for years. Second one the effect was not as great but still made a significant difference.

My comment was a bit tongue in cheek as the article I read said that it wasn't known if he'd had the jabs at the club or at an offsite clinic. If he had them at the club they wouldn't have been done by a radiologist, as I doubt even Geelong have the required equipment, which would be the likely reason for them being put in the wrong place.

Let's hope so.

Cortisone injections can work. Completely cleared up the bursitis in my shoulder but it took two goes as the first was slightly mis-placed.
I have had bursitis for over a decade. Or volleyball shoulder. Still play and hurts like a campaigner every week. Had injections about a decade ago and didn't help but were not guided. Just in orthopods surgery. Maybe i should try again.

You may not have much to lose by trying again. I now feel zero pain in my shoulder.

Look at me. I'm now giving medical advice on Bigfooty. I'm happy to bulk bill.

He's like Barnaby Joyce, doesn't know when to shut up. No filter between brain and mouth, thinks he's interesting and in a weird
way he's right, i'm always interested to hear what he says. Tex has a rare gift of being funny without trying, keep him talking I reckon.
