Close to 90000 ha ha ha ha ha...
In the pre-season they blindfolded their employees, now they are blindfolding their customers with injury reporting and membership numbers.
Its beautiful to see how the majority of the customers just lap it up. Never change adelaide football company pty ltd, never change!!

The crows just kick the ball long and forward with every possession whether they've looked for a target or not. Their players up field man up on the opposition and wait for the long kick and so it doesn't easily fall into the arms of free opposition defenders. They rarely run and carry the ball with handball as much as all other teams. At centre clearances they kick it long into the middle of the 50m more often than not. When a player is under pressure he's determined to get rid of it by foot and positions his body to face forward. It is rare they move the ball backwards even if it means getting out of trouble. They have structures of course but they play a basic game. You don't need a team of fast smart skilled players with their style. They don't overuse the ball.

I reckon at least 10k of those 90k “members” are Port Board shitposting free memberships.

There would be about 1,000 Nigel Shart's

Everyone goes "oh how good Will it be when their membership gets audited" but that's one news article in off season but meanwhile Joe and Jane Bloggs have watched Crows' ridiculous number of prime time games where Fages parrots on about 90,000 members and convinced themselves that Adelaide are a massive successful club and have rushed to buy a 3 game membership so they don't miss the bandwagon.

If there's one player who epitomises 'horses for courses', ie should've stayed at the stable tonight, it's Matthew Suckling.

Looks like a baby giraffe with rickets and Imperial Leather rollerskates.

Plot twist - he ended up kicking one of their two goals for the game and their only goal from open play.

Success, Enron style.

Plus marketing to potential sponsors. Even if they're just on an e-mail list that still represents marketing value.

ALASTAIR Clarkson won't back away from his comments about what he perceives as illegal blocking by defenders, but the Hawthorn coach has conceded that next time he will raise the issue privately rather than publicly.

"I talk to Gill once every four to six weeks," Clarkson said.

"In actual fact, for this one, one of the items I wanted to speak to him about is my wife and eldest daughter being guests of the AFL at the Gold Coast Suns versus Port Adelaide game (in China) this weekend …

"Gill and I have regular conversations. I’m wanting him to educate me on what goes on in the game. He’s got vast experience in a whole (range) of sports, as well as different aspects of our game that I don't know too much about; and he needs to be educated about things that are going on with players, football, rules.

"We try to help one another, but I’d try to do that in his house or my house next time."

Every four to six weeks. Wife and daughter junket to China.

That's the sell. Conflict of interest much.

Boystown is so rotten it doesn't even know it wears no clothes.

Geez the Adelaide media is so proud of the brave undermanned lovely boys. You’d think they just knocked off WC at Optus.

The audited AFL membership numbers are going to be good viewing this season. :D
they wont count 1/2 because they are free memberships

Notso has been crunching the numbers...
