Adelaide put in a mature performance against the ****ing Bulldogs, who have won their 4 games against Essendon, Carlton, Gold Coast and Brisbane. Adelaide has played three of these sides for 2 wins and 1 loss, with another win coming against St Kilda.

Based on the comments on the wind at Blundstone it sounds like North Melbourne would be about par if they lead by 4-5 goals at quarter time. At the moment the Roos are just short of 2 kicks for every one handball, while GWS are 1:1. Tactics will have to be the opposite in the second quarter.

Only two teams who are in the eight at the moment, and in fact only two who were seriously expected to be in the eight. Richmond have had just about as easy a ride with games against three in the eight, and of those only two, maybe three were expected to be in the eight. But they have also played 7 of 8 games in Victoria and 6 at the MCG.
