The build up to Buddy vs Rance is a bit weird.

Key forwards rarely kick bags against decent sides and Rance hasn’t actually played on a man all year.

Prance has gotten a bath most times this year he's actually had to play on a big key forward

In all seriousness Tom needs to be careful. Under the AFL policy if a player incurs 16 weeks suspension he risks being de registered. By my count Tom has accrued 11 weeks during his career. A hit like Cameron's and Tom probably would risk being de registered.

Doesn't apply to the AFL, just lower levels

Came across some interesting vision of Stevie J in 10 funniest moments of 2015. He was waltzing into a goal against St Kilda and decided to bounce the ball and take it easy. With the result that he was tackled and Geelong did not even get a point for it. The game was a draw but even had Stevie J scored and Geelong won they still would not have made finals, having missed by 4 points in that year. Some other missed goals, stupid plays.

Tom Boyd’s gf game is a fair bit overrated. As someone else noted, thurstans kicked 3 in a gf against an actual backline (did Syd have another key defender other than 192cm Grundy?) without the free ride the refs gave the dogs.

Some things like Cameron (solid performer doing a role) Mooney having multiple all aus awards should have an asterisk next to them.

Nah, it was good. Stood up in key moments, had a big impact for sure.

Yep, it was very similar to Hawkins' coming of age in the 2011 finals series. He got the nod over Mooney, and just tore the prelim and the GF apart.

Neither of them have lived up to their finals series (although Hawkins has become a very good player, he had the potential to become a monster).

I sincerely hope he never needs a blood transfusion.

"Fly on the wall" question I'd like Bachar Houli to ask him: "hey Alex, if you seriously clocked someone and THEY needed a transfusion, would that be a sin?"

To be honest, if he ever has a major injury he'd be in trouble. I work with a JW, his son did his ACL and it took an insane amount of effort and recovery time to get him right again.

Last week was the first time since Round 6 2009 that WCE went into a game without either Kennedy or Darling.
