I went to the Port vs Collingwood game at the MCG last year. We won that game comfortably by 31 points. Collingwood looked pretty ordinary that day. Turned the ball over a lot, struggled with their ball movement into their forward 50 and their defence looked vulnerable.

The Collingwood of today looks nothing like that team. Buckley's done a remarkable job in turning the club around. I want to see Collingwood win next week.

The way they played that day was insulting and hard to watch and the amount of sideways kicking was disgraceful. Reminded me of Port in 2012.

Sidebottom & Treloar finished up with 30+ of the most meaningless touches due to the amount of sideways kicking.

Didnt watch the game yesterday. Was on in the background, but just wasn't interested.

I dont hate Collingwood. I dont buy into the myth that you have to hate them. I do hate Maguire though. Pathologically.

On the other hand West Coast are the Crows on steroids. They are epitome of that weird brand of West Australian insularism and parochialism. They are basically untouchable over there. Thank **** I dont live in Perth.

Usually I can find a side to get behind for some reason. Not this year.

The MCG advantage is real. For that reason Collingwood will win. Of that I'm fairly certain.

Its not so much a 'yay' for non-vic teams, its more an anti-institutional bias towards vic teams. But yeah, each to their own.

This lady loved big Wes that much she baked him and cake, decorated it with black and white icing and topped it with a miniature figure of Wes. He was a little embarrassed when she presented it to him.

Downside of working for MMM. They have rights but not a second station to broadcast their call on like ABC had JJJ and Newsradio networks.

After they convincingly won on ANZAC Day, he started ranting about how they’re a shoe in for the flag, and threw out a deal in the group chat for any takers that if Collingwood don’t win the flag he’ll give you $150 but if they win it you have to give him $100. Who would pass that up?
