Sydney saying that they won't stand in the way of Stuart if he lands the Crows job..... Need a couple more clubs to sack coaches in the next week or two. Stuart would be a good fit at the Bulldogs almost be like home

I honestly think replacing a new developing coach with another new, developing coach would be a very big mistake on Adelaide's behalf. Find someone with a bit experience in the past and give him a goddamn assistant to help out. It isn't rocket science and every other club does it now, they have the finances to back it up as well.

Wait so Melbourne appointed Goodwin on a 5 year deal obviously to take over from Roos being wary of the Crows cutting their lunch but what exactly does Goodbet have going for him that makes him a better successor than Dew?

Crows will make a mistake going down the inexperienced path even with someone as quality as Dew, they need someone with similar philosophies & experience that Ken offered us, if I were Roo Leigh Tudor would be my first choice he's been great for North.

Not that I really care what they do, this whole debacle has been much more embarrassing than our Choc/Primus split seeing as Sando actually had a decent W/L record & the lunatics (players) are running the asylum.
Never knew much about Dew, apart from watching him play. Is he smart enough to be a senior coach? Thanks!!

TV. I mainly noticed this because Nicks is usually sat besides Ken, and now he's not. But I've also made a point of keeping a close eye when the coaches are walking down at quarter time and in the huddle etc, and haven't seen him lately (since Carlton), although there are a few unidentified bald heads around :). Hoping I'm wrong.
How many times have you seen Phil Walsh? I reckon I have seen him once this year. At Subi for the semi, the guy sitting next to Ken, I had never seen before. Might be analyst Chris Sheedy but I have no idea. I wouldn't make too much of it.

What other teams could sack a coach this year? Maybe gold coast or even essendon, can't see any others going this year.

Yeah, I've also noticed (on TV during Richmond or Freo ??) that a few of the coaching staff (e.g. Walsh) were at ground level by the bench. Who knows, they probalbly mix it up depending on what's going on during the quarter.

Yeah, so is Dew dumber than Sando?
Don't know. There is smart and there is footy smart.

Sanderson certainly came across as not being too bright and not much of a tactical coach. Haven't seen enough of Dew being interviewed to really form an opinion.

In my opinion what may count against Dew is that he is only 35. It may be tough for him coming into an environment where players who are not much younger than him had a hand in getting his predecessor sacked. I got the impression Sando tried to be one of the boys and it didn't work for him.

Goodwin reveals Ricciuto phoned him late last night (after Sanderson was sacked) to see where his think was at re coaching @FOXSportsNews

Interesting. Looks like they really don't have plan B up their sleeve... or A for that matter.
Well there goes conspiracy theory 1. They must have spent 3 weeks reviewing things and decided to make a clean start and appoint Fagan and sack Sando on the weekend ( maybe inspired by Port's win and publicity). It looks like this is a St Kilda sack Watters situation where its better to look a bit incompetent but find someone else quick smart rather than another year of the incumbent.

Interesting.............
Simon Goodwin signs with Melbourne Demons, turning his back on former club Adelaide Crows

Goodwin has been an assistant coach at Essendon since 2011 and has signed a five-year contract with the Demons that will see him assume the senior coaching position in 2017.
Well, this has surprised me.
