fn hilarious on the crows board they are taking it as if that interview confirms he is staying lol??

He said it was not a decision from the players but to me he seemed very comfortable with the decision and was defending the decision heavily?

And Clarkson has a prelim to play - the last thing he would be focused on is the international rules yet the crow flogs cant see it as him going to hawks - they choose to look at it as if dangerfield is recruiting clarko - lol why would he ever want to go to that club from where he is at the moment.

I almost feel sorry for those numpties on the camry board. Throw a few buzzwords in their direction and they're already creaming themselves with excitement and making up all sorts of theories to confirm their own rumours. So easily manipulated and led up the garden path, its pathetic really.

Two decades sans a premiership is going to hit them hard when it comes.

You get what you deserve. From the administration to the players to the fans, the Adelaide Football Club is by far the biggest bunch of mouth breathing, bathwater drinking campaigners I have ever seen. There is no redeeming qualities about that place. Blight knew what had to be done, but even he couldn't reign in the prima donnas at AFC these days. Jack Gunston was right when he said that he didn't like the person he was becoming at Adelaide - it changes you into thinking your shit don't stink and that every thing should be given to you on a silver platter instead of putting in the hard work required to be a successful club.

Any player who visibly endorses that piece of shit franchise by resigning with them for whatever reason is guilty by association. At least when our players got rid of Primus, they did it on the field and embarrassed themselves as well. Everyone knew who was responsible for that. But not these campaigners. Political moves and ultimatums are the agenda at AFC. I don't want any player who would want to be a part of that sort of environment.

The absolute best thing to send them into obscurity is for us to win the premiership this year.

Adelaide could get an all-star coaching panel of Clarkson, Dew and Malthouse as the senior assistant...and it wouldn't make one scrap of difference. The Crows don't have a problem with top end talent. They have a problem with guys like Laird, Brown, Grigg, Jenkins etc. Players who believe that because they are an Adelaide player, that makes them good. And that belief comes from the fans and the administration. Deluded campaigners.

Clarkson to the Crows? Been at the Hawks for ages, won 2 possibly 3 premierships, what else can he do at the Hawks. Obviously lived in adelaide when he was at Port, and I think his wife if from here or has fairly here.

Edit: I see this has already come up. Barrett on the footy show?

Huh?
There has to be more to this sacking than what we are being fed.

Do I honestly believe Adelaide doesn't have someone in-waiting?

Yes I do.

The Adelaide Crows have bolloxed this so badly, from cRowey getting the details early, sitting on them and then missing the story, having to finally blubber it out. If he had had the cajones, he would have gone with it and grabbed the attention of the AFL world. But he is a Crow, second best.

The AFC not having a press conference that day, what a cock-up.

Melbourne grabbing Simon Goodwin before his beloved Adelaide Crows had the chance - comical.

For me, it is clear that there is something else at play. Drugs, sex who knows.

Brenton Sanderson was given an immediate dismissal. It had nothing to do with the losses against Melbourne, West Coast or Richmond.

I think this story has a lot more legs.

Clarkson is exactly the kind of target that the Crows will pay squillions for - and in his situation he may just take the fresh pastures.

He certainly wouldn't need the pay though, and the list will shape his decision - I reckon that GC may be a more attractive prospect to Clarko.

Just on Dew guys, Roosy said today that Dew's family was the obstacle to bringing him to Melbourne last year.

The rumour is the missus loves Sydney and doesn't want to leave
His wife Sarah Cumming is a presenter on Seven News & has filled in on Sunrise & The Morning Show so she wouldn't want to leave NSW.

Trigg wasn't sacked after the Tippett debacle because the deceit was sanctioned by more powerful (SNAFL appointed) AFC board members. That sticks out like dog's balls. Sanderson may not have been their answer but when he was appointed they had Tippett, Gunston, 2 first round and 2 second round draft picks more than they had 2 years later. The real problem with that club is its Board and, by association, everyones enemy in the SNAFL. Nothing is going to change with Sandersacking. Port is the oasis in the SA Adelaide Club desert and they nearly pumped us dry.

Some of the Adelaide posters have derided any of us for suggesting that Port's success in any way prompted the sacking of Sando!! Well, interesting reading below:

".... in a frank admission Chapman added that it had been Port Adelaide's outstanding revival and season success that had also prompted the decision. "It has made us step up to the plate even harder," Chapman said."
