Chasing some info for a friend in regards to general public tickets to AFL games is it still that they go on sale 2 weeks before the actual game? I'm sure it is just wanted to confirm with some others who may know

Didn't like Dwayne Russell's interview on AA in general but thought his initial reply when asked if he heard about Brent Reilly's injury was in pretty poor taste, "Dwayne has the news hit over there about Reilly's injury at training?" "yes it has, was he even in their best 22?"

It doesn't really matter if he was best 22 or a rookie that's all irrelevant to the situation, I hate hearing about serious injuries & sincerely hope Brent recovers from it, he's been a good clubman for them doesn't deserve to go out like that.

While it is definitely in poor taste, and I agree entirely with what you say, it's pretty relevant when you consider that Walsh has put every spot in the 'best 22' up for grabs. This kind of shit happens when you do that, because players have no self-preservation or preservation of their teammates. All they can think about it impressing the coach with their 'attack on the ball' - bearing in mind that there are no umpires in training situations, so no 'protecting of the head'.

Starting to think that Geelong poster might know more about what's going on down at West Lakes than a few might believe...

Janus you find a way to make any situation at the Crows sound negative. Are you saying doing away with any previously held gold passes and telling every player that they can earn their place in the side by showing attributes such as attacking the footy is a bad thing? Christ. You train the way you play - I'm sure you'd be lauding Hinkley for telling players to do exactly the same thing you described in your post.

Geez .. Fractured Scull .. not good
Adelaide veteran Brent Reilly has been taken to hospital after suffering a fractured skull during training on Monday morning.
Reilly, 31, was diagnosed after arriving at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, where he had been brought by ambulance. The Crows released a statement saying that Reilly had received medical attention on the scene, and is now conscious, with surgery set for later in the day.

C'mon a fractured scull isn't that big of a deal. Cassissi did one in the middle of a game and continued to play on, finishing the game off. If I remember correctly he even came back and played the following week... In all seriousness though, I hope the fella is alright and there are no long lasting affects.

I don't know if it's a bit of a troll but I think it's pretty ridiculous that afl.com has done the article asking which Port player is the most important and are comparing Boak with Ryder. As much as I think Ryder is the type of player we needed to bring into the team, I would have had half a dozen others before him. I'd have Westhoff, Lobbe, Schulz, Trengove, Wingard and even Jonas in my team before Ryder. Maybe time will change that, once I get to see Ryder playing more regularly.
The bigger troll was the one they did for Melbourne. Whose more important, Jones or the zero gamer in hogan?....

at first I thought stuff him, it's a crowbot... but then reading what injury he has it quickly reminded me of Phil Hughes, nobody deserves those sort of injury's playing the sport they love. Probably very lucky it's not more serious than what it could've been

I suffered a fractured skull myself when I was 16 playing junior footy. It is not fun! All I remember is waking up in the change rooms, and it really stuffed me up for months with constant headaches and what-not. Wishing Brent Reilly a speedy recovery.

http://www.afl.com.au/tickets scroll down past the preseason stuff.
Sounds to me both the MCG and Etihad games tickets go on sale at once but if it's for others aka the portress I think it's still 2 weeks

Get your hand off it. Janus said something which he's already been called on and which he's already apologised for. It's not like he cracked Reilly over the head with a baseball bat himself. So take your holier than thou tripe back to your own board.

Yeah not great he needs surgery immediately after the accident. Don't like to see anyone end their career that way. Hope this one ends well for him.
