Port Adelaide eager to inspect Football Park’s suitability for hot derby after One Direction concert
PORT Adelaide will inspect Football Park on Monday as questions linger on the ground’s suitability for the AFL pre-season ending Showdown with the Crows next Saturday.
And if doubts linger on the state of the southern end of the West Lakes venue — after the turf was flattened by the stage for the One Direction concert on February 17 — the Power could make a push to move the game to Alberton Oval.

Hope it is moved to Alberton .. more dollars for the Club
I hear all those 1D fans are heroin addicts who drop their needles willy nilly. Probably better to be safe than sorry.

Hopefully it's moved, but I bet Fox Footy wouldn't budge. They requested proper media facilitates for all last round games.

1.12.6 to 9.14. A "Joe the cameraman" score. Can't aim, can't kick.

We've got the proper facilities at Alberton. That rickety tower above the kiosk.

Disposal efficiency is surely up there with the most useless measures of a player's game.

Weren't we overall the 3rd worst 'efficient' users of the ball last season? Lol.
What I did notice about the crowswas they were very direct. They just went forward without method and purpose, just pumping it forward. It meant they had high I 50's and poor disposal efficiency but that was all brought on by their game style, a little like ours is.

Yep, trying to play on at every opportunity. But, if they don't get it right, they'll lose more than they win.

Playing on Pods at times? Should be interesting if they go down that route much this year, no replacement for Rutten will make it tough for Talia against the better sides.
Talia is their most important player (like Lobbe was for us last year) ... he goes down for a long term injury and the cows are gone

That is how they've always played. They can't play any other way because their mids don't have the composure + skill to think their way through the game. Its just win the clearance, boot it forward along the boundary and hope for another ball in so they can do it again. Worst team to watch.

who kicks for goal 3 times better than new cow Reilly O'Brien
Clever joke !!!

Reilly O'Brien kick for goal early on was out of bounds on the full and last week his kick for goal was from memory also out of bounds

On the Crows board its
1 only pre-season
2 would have won if we kicked straight
3 plenty of things to like
4 umps cost us
5 pick #10 Cockatoo flashy but only pre-season. Remember "so and so" dominating NAB game blah blah
6 when you put lipstick on a pig 'voila' its not a pig anymore

Early days for both teams. Rusty and will improve. The Crows new game style will take a while to be mastered. Just another NAB low intensity practice game. Very little tackling.
