There was this time I had to visit a Psychiatrist because sometimes I felt like I was a Wigwam and other times I felt like I was a Ti pi.

He thought about it for a while and told me I was just too tense.

Think you ****ed up your punchline Valentino: two tents :):$

Hawthorn looked damn impressive even against meek opposition last night, they are definately the team to beat again and at this early stage it's going to be hard to topple them.
Absolutely. People are quick to forget the adversity they had to overcome to win last years flag. If they have a decentrun with injuries this year then they are a lock for top 2 and will be damn hard to beat.

Think the media are getting well ahead of themselves with all the fapping over us. Last year we finished the minor round 2 games shy of 4th spot. We had the same number of wins as North Melbourne. This year our draw looks frightening.

I have every confidence that we are in for an exciting year(s) but to go in as Premiership favorite is well off the mark IMO.

I can't agree with this. Yes our first 5 weeks is as tough as it gets, but it really opens up over the 12 weeks after that. Get through to R5 3-2 and we should be eyeing off a top 4 at worst. Reality is no matter the order, we play 2 games different to last years draw.

ASADA and injuries play a massive hand in our flag hopes this year IMO. Enter september with a fit list and Ryder and Gus available, we will be up to our necks in premiership contention regardless of where we finish in the 8.

Agree that Hawthorn is still ahead of us. Don't agree that we are in the same bracket as North and not a contender. We're not "well off the mark". We're close. How close remains to be seen.

We are certainly in contention but to be favourites right now is off the mark. Hawks have strengthened their team after going back to back! For all of our good starts in the last 2 years we have failed to finish top 4 after the minor round and it continues to be highly unlikely that a premiership can be won from outside. First mission is to cement a top 4 finish and then from there we are up to our necks in it.

I still believe Hawks are the team to beat. That being said, I have confidence in the boys to do it. I think the top is separated into 3 tiers.

Hawks

Port
Sydney
Freo

North (last shot)
Geelong

If we can get a good start and make top 4, and with 2 home finals, I can see us playing off in the GF

Hawks are flying now, but it's going to come down to whether all those older players are on the park at the business end of the season. For all their injuries to older players last year, they all came good when it mattered. You wouldn't want to bet your house on that timing again.

The media has been blowing a lot of smoke up his ass, like every crows coach, until they work out they can't.

And yet Fagan came out at their season launch and requested balance in the media - WTF

I've heard a confirmed rumour that Adelaide's backroom staff euphemistically refer to Nigel Notso's many PR blunders as 'malcommunications', or 'malcom' for short and the supposed power point howler at the We Fly as One night was a case of the underlings 'kicking against the prick'.
