Childish act by some crows. Either they were dobbing or kicking a dog when it was down. Pretty poor considering the goodwill shown to them earlier in the year by the whole comp.

That's just how they roll.

#Carn guys. This board is full of posts complaining about a perception that Port have gone soft, and now you're bagging Crows players for a bit of sledging because it's 'kicking a dog when it's down'? If an opposition player was talking the way that Carlisle was in a Port game, I'd want our players rubbing that fact in the face of every other opposition player out there.

Reckon the bombers would have a fair idea how Carlile feels & I'd bet he's not alone in his thinking. I don't believe the crows players were performing a community service.
I dont really care what the bombers know about Carlisle. All we hear from the bombers spin machine eg like Tim Watson is that all the players are happy about things, united and dont want to leave their mates and club. I like to hear the truth. From the horses mouth. He might do a presser but this is the truth via a different channel. So what.

More the fact they ran to the teacher with the info.

High school stuff from Crows players.

I know this is the 'Shit on Adelaide at any cost' thread, but if any of our players were saying that rubbish I'd like to know and I'd like the opposition to bring it up in the media. Its insanely embarassing for Carlisle and honestly makes him come across as sooky. Essendon have a shit truck culture at the moment but slamming your team mates on the field in the middle of the game is ridiculously detrimental to the moral of everyone involved and shows his character when things aren't going right.

After Jacobs' signing yesterday I'm getting a feeling wincy will announce he's staying just before the cats game for maximum impact.

I have to admit, even though i dislike them, that would be an epic troll move by the Crows if they did that!!

The arrogance of Cats supporters/the team assuming that Dangerfield is in the bag a la Boak makes me want to see them get ****ed over with that deal. Also, to lose Motlop at the same time.

They have just signed a couple of key players to big contracts, Sloan, Jacobs. I think Dangerfield is at his last month at the club.

I maintain Geelong won't get Dangerfield. He'll head to a big Melbourne club that's a chance of winning a premiership in his career. I reckon he craves hooking up with someone like Clarkson.

Why would anyone want that total spud.

That total spud is only 1 year older then Dixon , but has played twice as many games , kicked more goals even playing as a swingman who spends time in defense , and taken around 4 times the marks as Dixon has.

Is better as a defender then a forward though. As a forward he is similar to Shultz as in he likes to lead up. Doesn't really dominate games at all as a forward.

Looks set to join Geelong and a decent pick up as a backman for them.

Dixon doesn't have a lengthy WADA suspension potentially hanging over his head.

He's just as likely to end up at Essendon IMO. They're going to have to fill their salary cap one way or another.

Danger will stay. He is just prolonging it so that when he does sign on every granny in the state will hurl her knickers at his front doorstep in relief.

Collingwood are too into Treloar, they wouldnt be able to afford both Treloar & Dangerfield I wouldnt think, unless they lose a first 22 player as well.

I can think of no better way of putting my opponent of his game than by spreadu g disharmony amongst the playing group.

If they are thinking about carlisle then they're not thinking about football. Percentage boosting win here we come.

Carlton accidentally appoint James Hird coach

Blues CEO Steven Trigg said he was keen to get to the bottom of how he offered Hird a ten year, $8 million contract.

“While I’m not sure how this happened and admit it wasn’t intentional, I think it’s going to be terrific for the club. James has a proven track record of being a coach.”

I reckon Swan and Toovey might go + the other 2 drug enforced bans, will that clear the salary cap enough?

Pendlebury becomes a vet = $122k of his wage outside the cap

So does Birchall, Swallow, Murphy, Ibbotson, Stokes, Hurn, N Jones and Douglas. Free money everywhere.

Veterans list rules will change or disappear completely at the end of 2016, just as we're about to put Boak, Gray and Westhoff onto ours.

Yep. Paint me cynical, but the same way we missed out on (utterly deserved) priority picks because of Carlton and Melbourne's prolonged bullshit, Hawthorn will fit Dangerfield and Messi under their cap off the back of adding Frawley & O'Rourke and the AFL will wind it in.
