Crows have been really good this year. They've had a few close-ish games in recent weeks against poor opposition which has maybe masked the fact they might be starting to feel the effects of going full bore from round one and actually looked pretty poor tonight at times. As has been the case with us this year they need all their best players firing because, as good as their second tier has been, the side falls away when the big guns don't fire, and they went missing big time tonight. A club's depth is only as good as the A-Graders make them look, and Geelong's A-Graders did tonight what the Crows' couldn't.

Port Magpies, SinCity Swamprats,
Apparently Mitch Wallis was still in the rooms screaming uncontrollably in agony as they were getting him ready for the ambulance when the rest of the players came back to the rooms :(
I can tell you from experience that when you snap both bones in your lower leg like that, every breath, every muscle movement feels like the ends of the broken bones are grating together and it is incredibly painful

Just like us, when their SANFL team is struggling, the AFL side is struggling too. I think they went too hard early and have hit a flat patch but they can come back (like we did in '14).
